Epidermolysis BullosaEpidermolysis bullosa is a condition wherein blisters from on the skin at the site of a minor injury. Predisposition to epidermolysis bullosa is passed on to succeeding generations, and it may appear on sites of the skin that has been subjected to even minor trauma. The condition may also cause loss of hair in the affected area, and the formation of blisters in the eyes, and even in the throat. When this happens, the patient may have considerable difficulty swallowing.

Marijuana may help reduce the discomfort associated with epidermolysis bullosa. In some patients, marijuana use may even help make swallowing easier.
